Wembley Downs Residence, Wembley Downs

This super modern residential project displays the finest in trade skills. From the tiling which had zero allowance for error, to the carpentry where Brett spent hours cutting timber to the millimetre. 12m3 of jarrah was used throughout the house. Brett hand crafted all of the timber doors, staircase and large Entry door for this project. The Entry door is made of 110 year old jarrah and weights over 200kg. Strip lighting recessed into walls and the ceiling accentuates the various architectural angles.

  • Skylight 3.6m x 1.5m lets in an abundance of light
  • Handcrafted jarrah doors & door jambs made and stained black by Brett on site
  • 11m wide full height stacking doors that disappear into the walls, providing seamless transition to the infinity pool & alfresco area
  • James Hardie Matrix was used for the entire top storey & eaves lining
  • The front façade was clad with Fielders Prominence Matte Black, which provides a striking design element
