Amelia Park Lodge (Tavern), Abbey

Amelia Park Lodge Tavern is a new building that was designed by Brett Mason to feel like it has been there for 50+ years. The major design feature of this building include the high ceilings, 300mm decorative cornices, chandeliers imported from South Africa, solid steel 2.4m high door frames with curved hi-lite windows above that allows for seamless flow of patrons from inside and outside, and the custom designed brass bar top which takes centre stage. The bathrooms have 3m x 1m large format porcelain tiles on the walls. The stone benchtops to the verandah, coupled with strip lighting are another striking feature.
